Biography

Alan Shi joins the Cold Hearts for his first season at OTE as a post-graduate who is looking to help get the squad back to the top spot in the league. Shi comes to OTE as an energetic big who is best known for his agile footwork and physical, aggressive style of play.

Prior to coming to OTE, Shi played his most recent high school season for Brookline in Massachusetts and was named All-State after averaging 20 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks per game. In just three years of varsity play, Shi racked up over 500 rebounds and 200 blocks. For his accomplishments, Shi was named the Boston Globe Player of the Week on three separate occasions. Shi had multiple big time scoring performances, scoring a career-high 33 points against Bridgewater-Raynham as a senior and also scoring 30 points in a game without missing a shot from the field. He spent the summer playing for the Riverside Hawks on the UAA Circuit.
